Music: Rihanna's New Album On Pace to Sell 200K

It looks like Rihanna’s latest studio effort is on its way to tanking big time. Compared to Drake’s 1st week sales of 659K for his 2nd album, Take Care, RiRi’s Talk That Talk is only expected to sell 180-200K in the first week.

Music: Drake To Debut At #1 On Billboard

The numbers are in. Drake’s highly-anticipated sophomore album, Take Care, debuted at #1 on Billboard this morning. The LP which includes appearances from Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar, sold roughly 659,190 copies it’s first week according to Hits Daily Double.
It’s the second highest opening week for a rap album this year, only behind his mentor and boss Lil’ Wayne. For those keeping track, his debut album Thank Me Later sold 447K opening week back in 2010. Congrats Drizzy!

Spotted: Tyga Celebrates 22nd Birthday in Vegas

YMCMB’s Tyga celebrated his 22nd birthday at Chateau Nightclub and Gardens in Las Vegas last weekend.

Drake‘s new album is expected to do some serious damage on next week’s Billboard charts. Take Care, Drizzy Drake’s sophomore album, is predicted to see first week sales of around 675,000 – 725,000 copies in its first week according to industry trade publication Hits Daily Double.
