Founded in Hawaii in 2006, Aloha Army strives to reflect the current state of culture on the islands. For their Spring 2013 line, the brand has enlisted the help of model and photographer Brooke Dombroski to produce a series of photographs that truly encapsulate the sun, sea sand and characteristics that make up the Aloha Army style. Featured is their iconic ‘Aloha’ hat in new colorways as a snapback, as well as introducing the ‘War Club’ which is a design based off a traditional Hawaiian weapon made of wood and sharks’ teeth. The Spring 2013 line will be available at all In4mation storefronts and retailers worldwide from September 14, as well as online. [See More]
In4mation released its 2013 summer lookbook, shot by Los Angeles’s own Ja Tecson. Famed for his fluency with streetwear photography, Ja took In4mation to the streets of his home base, LA, and produced a lookbook that exudes a light and laid back vibe for the summer season. Offering up apparel and accessories for men and in some instances modified for women, the collection features a variety of hand-drawn tees and a series of hats, including a stand-out yellow and black duck canvas crossbones hat. Available at select retailers in the United States this week and set to be available worldwide soon after, check the In4mation website for more details. [See More]
With a brick and mortar located in Honolulu and an unyielding disposition towards streetwear, it was only a matter of time before Crooks & Castles teamed up with local imprint In4mation on a collaborative venture. Titled The Infamous, the capsule collection sees both brands’ bold motifs interspersed across a number of snapbacks, vests, tees and lighters. Shot in the Lamborghini car park by Luke Aguinaldo, we get a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the lookbook modeled by the statuesque Daniella Stannard. “The Infamous” capsule will be available at both Crooks & Castle Hawaii and In4mation store-fronts beginning Saturday, July 20 and online at In4mants.com beginning Monday, July 23.
