As we have learned last month, the Toronto Raptors have named the city's favorite son Drake their "Global Ambassador." On that note, the Raptors unveiled a rather dramatic video that displays Drake speaking about his hometown in high notes as well as the team's role in it. For his latest commercial, LeBron James wanted to feature some of his favorite things about Miami. A new spot featuring the Miami Heat star and four-time NBA MVP was released by Nike Basketball on Sunday night. Dubbed Training Day, it shows hundreds of people joining James as he rides his bike through Miami's streets, swims in the ocean, jogs through the city and plays pickup basketball on an outdoor court. Many of his workout partners in the video are children. "So much fun, man," James told The Blueprint on Sunday. "The message is obvious. I want people to feel like they're at one with me and I had a lot of fun, shooting it all over Miami and to have all those kids, it was great." The release of the spot coincides with the LeBron 11, his latest signature shoe. Enjoy.

"I would love to spend the rest of my career in Miami with this great team and great organization as we continue to compete for championships. [Watch & Read More]
Greg Oden will be taking his talents to South Beach. The oft-injured center has decided that the Miami Heat are the best fit for his comeback bid and, according to ESPN’s Marc Stein, the former top-overall pick will sign a two-year deal with the team. The Heat apparently hedged their bets as the deal is worth the veteran’s minimum, but gives Oden the option to opt out next summer if he’s healthy enough to garner a bigger deal. It was seemingly wise for the Heat to take on such a low risk considering Oden hasn’t played in the NBA since 2009 and has undergone multiple surgeries on both of his knees. [Watch & Read More]
