The latest release from Miami-based Del Toro Shoes arrives in the form of a special Carbon Fiber iteration of the brand’s popular Alto Chukka. Offered in two colorways, the pair features a dual paneling execution with carbon fiber along half of the shoe with the remaining upper being characterized by suede or nappa leather. The shoe is finished off with a special margom outsole and leather laces. The pair is now available via the Del Toro Shoes webshop here and through their Wynwood Boutique.

As we have learned last month, the Toronto Raptors have named the city's favorite son Drake their "Global Ambassador." Albeit the vague nature of this title, Drake will play an important role in the team's rebranding as the city prepares to host the 2016 NBA All-Star Game. On that note, the Raptors unveiled a rather dramatic video that displays Drake speaking about his hometown in high notes as well as the team's role in it. Radii Footwear recently presented its Fall/Winter 2013 lookbook. The upcoming season welcomes back two of Radii’s signature low cut sneakers, The Axel and The Jack. The Axel is crafted out of three overlapping panels and sits on a smooth white rubber outsole. Tying together the package are the solid two-tone laces which add a nice finishing contrast to the perforated upper.The other, the Jack, features a two-panel construction with padded ankle collar and complementing strip running the contour of the midsole. Boasting similar thick laces and a white outsole as the Axel, the shoe is similarly available in a wide range of colors and materials for the upper such as mesh, ballistic nylon and canvas. Although leaks have been surfacing for some time now of Google’s upcoming Nexus 5, last night’s leak on the Google Play Store provides the best image yet of what consumers can expect. Accompanying the 16GB smartphone was the text “Starting at $349.” The Nexus 5 is expected to have a vastly improved camera, in addition to a 1080p 4.95-inch display, a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 CPU, LTE, and storage capacity that tops out at 32GB. No word yet on any official release date but early reports suggest it will ship around the 28th with Android 4.4 KitKat.

American car manufacturer Cadillac presents the latest version of their popular Escalade SUV for 2015. Essentially the car’s main design cues remain the same although several subtle details have been added or altered including clean LED headlights, and a cut-and-sewn and wrapped leather interior. The vehicle is powered by a massive 6.2-liter V8 engine and comes with standard 20″ wheels although 22″ wheels are an option as well.
