Nicki Minaj is a part of Pepsi's new "Live For Now" ad campaign, and the extended cut of their latest commercial, which features her performing on-stage, and a remix of her song Moment 4 Life, was published on the Internet today. Nicki hits the screen about a minute in, frozen in time, before she's let loose by the crackling of two ice cold Pepsi cans being opened. Watch above, and get stuck in a moment. Enjoy.
Here’s a nice treat on this dreary Friday morning in New York City. I just got sucked into this video for a few minutes while spacing out in my cubicle at VIBE. Apparently, this video didn’t make Kanye West’s approval and was shelved at the end of 2010. Enjoy.
The Amazing Spider-Man isn’t a sequel to the Sam Raimi-directed series of films, but rather a reboot of sorts that explores the “untold story” of Spider-Man. In this new trailer, we get a glimpse of plenty of unseen footage that finds the titular hero (played by Andrew Garfield from The Social Network) struggling with the magnitude of his inner conflict, the might of his enemies, and finding out the truth about his parents. The film also stars Emma Stone (playing Peter Parker’s early girlfriend Gwen Stacy), along with Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Denis Leary and Rhys Ifans as Spider-Man’s nemesis, The Lizard. The Amazing Spider-Man is still slated for a July 3rd release. Enjoy.
My dream was to do this for my dad before he passed, but hopefully I can for my mother and step-father. This is the video tale of a good son who gave his dad the ultimate birthday gift for any gearhead: a Ferrari 360. We are not entirely sure if Nick DePalo from Florida actually bought the exotic supercar or if he rented/borrowed it (maybe our Blueprint Italian speaking readers can help with the translation), but his father sure enjoyed the ride. "My dad has always dreamed about driving the Ferrari, so for his birthday gift; we got him one," says DePalo on his YouTube channel. "When he took a seat in the car, he thought we got him some type of Total Gym/Bow Flex!" Head past the break to watch the videos. Enjoy. [See More]
Justin Bieber premieres the long-awaited video for his chart-topping single, Boyfriend. After giving us a sneak peek last month, the pop sensation went back to the drawing board and filmed a second version in Los Angeles. The visual takes us high up in the skies as Bieber hosts a rooftop party on top of a parking garage that features plenty of sports cars, neat dance moves, and many women having a good time. While others party, Biebs has his eye on a special lady and cozies up in the Little X (Director X)-directed video. Enjoy.
Soaring broadcasting fees are boosting MLB team values. Michael Ozanian and Kurt Badenhausen on the influence of YES Network and the future of the LA Dodgers, including Forbes' 2012 April cover story on baseball megastar Matt Kemp. Enjoy.
The LA Leakers were the first ones to get up with 2 Chainz after his big single No Lie feat. Drake dropped yesterday afternoon. Tity Boi goes on to explain how this collabo was not forced at all and talked about his features having to be a natural thing. He never wants to make a record sound forced. Enjoy.
