Lil Wayne is "doing better" after an in-flight medical scare on Thursday afternoon that forced the Young Money rapper's plane to make an emergency landing in Texas. After Weezy had suffered from seizure-like symptoms on a private jet, the craft landed in an undisclosed location in Texas, according to TMZ. From there, he was taken to a local hospital and treated for several hours before being released around 6 p.m. local time. An arrest order has been issued by Florida police after producer Scott Storch, the man behind hits such as Fat Joe's Lean Back, failed to pay over $20,000 in child support. TMZ reports that Storch owes $28,300 to the mother of his child, and not only has he failed to come up with the money, but he also missed his court date to explain why the money has yet to be paid. The judge promptly issued an arrest order, and told the police to find Storch and bring him directly to court. [Read More]

Lance Armstrong’s post cancer aura of invincibility is starting to crash and burn before our very eyes. Last month Armstrong was stripped of seven Tour De France championships by the USADA. Today TMZ is reporting that 11 of Armstrong’s former United States Postal Service cycling teammates turned informant on him, and testified against him in an investigation by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency. Gas prices have hit an all-time high in California, as the state-wide average got all the way up to $4.655 per gallon, according to AAA's report on Sunday. Of course, people living in metropolitan areas fared the worst; plenty of motorists paid $5/gal or more, and a few were even duped by a gouger in Long Beach who charged an absurd $6.65/gallon. That's almost as bad as England's $1.92/litre ($7.27/gallon).

Dwyane Wade has departed from Jordan Brand for Li-Ning according to a source familiar with the situation, as well as Li-Ning sponsored basketball player Evan Turner, who tweeted a message welcoming D Wade to the brand. There had been much speculation that Wade would depart from the brand after news that he would not be debuting a new signature shoe. Wade’s landing at Li-Ning now leaves the Chinese brand with a growing roster of talented players in the NBA.
