Sadly, when the show ended, actress Danielle Fishel didn't really do much in the entertainment industry for the ten years that followed - she did go to university, however, and actually just recently graduated with a degree in Psychology. It's a sad day in Laker Land. Dr. Jerry Buss, the longtime owner of the Los Angeles Lakers who looked on as his team won 10 NBA championships on his watch, died earlier today at the age of 80. Although no official cause of death has been announced yet, Bob Steiner, who served as an assistant for Buss, confirmed his death. Buss had reportedly been fighting a battle against cancer recently. R.I.P. Dr. Buss. Laker Land just won't be the same without you.
Steve Stoute's career in music was unprecedented—he did it all from managing Nas to producing chart-smashing albums at Interscope. And since making the transition to advertising in the early 2000s, Stoute's career has continued to blossom. He launched in his own firm, Translation, in 2004 and four years later, he partnered with Jay-Z to co-found Translation Advertising. It has worked on campaigns with major companies like State Farm and Coca-Cola, among others. And this month, Stoute officially added another award to his wall. Miami’s Local 10 and NBC Miami are reporting witnesses saw Rick Ross traveling in a Rolls Royce that was involved in a drive-by shooting in Fort Lauderdale, Florida early this morning. Fort Lauderdale Police received calls regarding gunshots at around 5am, and arrived at the scene to find a car crashed into a building. According to witnesses, a Rolls Royce was heading east on Las Olas when an unknown vehicle approached them and fired over a dozen shots. [Watch & Read More]

While Chicago's 500 homicides in 2012 are a drop off from previous years, the figure is still startling and unfortunate. Eight days into 2013, things are not looking much brighter for the windy city, as NBC Chicago has reported that 13 homicides were reported in the first six days of the new year.
