Even with all of our favorite summer festivals now a distant memory in our Instagram feeds, a portable power source for your mobile device can still be valuable during the chaotic holiday season. Today, protective accessory maker Incase announced the release of its Portable Power Pack in various colors and sizes. With your choice of a 5,400 or 2,500 mAH internal battery, the simplistic design of Incase’s latest creation features an embedded USB-A cable that will indicate your device’s charge progress with a series of LED lights. While the more powerful 5400 Pack can deliver two full charges to your iPhone, the 2500 only provides one. Both packs are currently available at the brand’s web store for $79.95 USD and $59.95 USD respectively.
For the second year in a row, Barneys New York held a benefit to support HOLA at their beautiful and recently renovated Beverly Hills department store. Several hundred guests attended the hugely successful event that featured cocktails, canapés and an innovative and exciting raffle. Instead of tickets, guests bought keys that they used to try to unlock each of the 13 locked boxes that were strategically placed around the store. The glamorous prizes included several pairs of designer shoes, a Céline Trapeze handbag, Rimowa Trolley luggage and La Mer cosmetics. All of the proceeds from the sale of keys went directly to benefit HOLA, as well as 10% of all sales from the night. The evening was hosted by Barneys New York Creative Ambassador Simon Doonan. Enjoy.
